Growing up surrounded by mountains, I developed a deep connection to the sheer beauty of their peaks and the challenges they represent. To me, mountains embody great heights and offer an invitation to explore them—both physically and creatively. Among them, the Grand Tetons stand as my greatest inspiration, the iconic peaks fueling my imagination and guiding my artistic vision.

2025 marks an exciting new chapter in my journey as I embrace oil painting, a medium that challenges me to grow and refine my skills. I will be embarking on a year-long journey to create 50 vibrant oil paintings inspired by the landscapes of the mountain west which will culminate in a gallery exhibition showcasing the entire collection. My landscapes are rooted in the vibrant traditions of the impressionist masters while drawing influence from contemporary leaders in the field. Each painting is alive with color and energy, reflecting my intention to capture not only the beauty of the mountain west but also the joy and connection it inspires.

Through my work, I aim to transport viewers to these breathtaking places, whether they’ve been there or not. I hope my paintings evoke happiness and a sense of belonging, encouraging others to explore, appreciate, and protect the incredible landscapes of the mountain west.
